Among Us!: Global Downloads Exceeded 200 Million
Sensor Tower statistics show that global downloads of the space-themed Werewolf game Among Us! developed by InnerSloth have exceeded 200 million times. This multiplayer game gained more than 75 million downloads in October, making it the world’s most downloaded mobile game for that month. This also made the total installation number of Among Us! increased to 217 million times.
In the first week of November, Among Us! also ranked first in downloads of all global mobile games. Up to now, the total expenditure of players on this game has reached 39 million dollars.
Among Us! was launched in 2018, but its downloads did not increase significantly until August to September this year. Especially during this August, its downloads reached 18.4 million times, a roaring growth of 655% from July.
So far, the game videos of Among Us! on YouTube has exceeded 4 billion views. Given the great success of this game, InnerSloth has announced cancellation of its game sequel and turned to the continuous update of Among Us!.
In addition, the popularity of this game has also encouraged many manufacturers to follow suit.
