Playrix downloads exceed 1 billion
According to Sensor Tower's data, the number of downloads of mobile games under Playrix has been nearly 1.1 billion.
" Gardenscapes " headed with 324 million downloads, April is the best month for both its revenue and downloads.
Playrix has a large number of hot games, such as "Gardenscapes", "Homescapes", "Fishdom" and "Township". Statistics since January 1, 2014 show that " Gardenscapes" has generated the most downloads, with nearly 324 million downloads and installations so far, accounting for 29.2% of the total downloads of the Playrix product portfolio. It is followed by " Homescapes", with 312.4 million downloads, "Township " with 275 million downloads, and "Fishdom" with 173.4 million downloads.
The United States, accounts for the largest share of Playrix mobile game downloads, with 142.3 million installations, accounting for 12.8% of the total. India came second with 114.1 million downloads, accounting for 10.3%, followed by Russia, with 82.7 million downloads, accounting for 7.5%. There were 807 million downloads on Google Play, accounting for 72.7% of the total downloads. Lastly, App Store has 302.3 million downloads which accounts for 27.3%.
With the epidemic spreading and the global lockdown, April 2020 has become the best month for both revenue and downloads in Playrix's history. With more than USD 200 million in revenue, there were also 95.8 million downloads obtained.
In terms of revenue ranking, the performance of Playrix's product portfolio corresponds to the number of downloads. " Gardenscapes " is not only Playrix's most downloaded game, but it is also the most profitable game, it has generated nearly USD 1.9 billion in revenue so far.
"Gardenscapes " has nearly USD 1.4 billion in revenue on App Store and Google Play.
"Gardenscapes " earned US$842 million and " Fishdom" earned USD 701.6 million. In total, the portfolio of four products under Playrix’ brought in a total revenue of USD 4.8436 billion.
In terms of geographic distribution, the United States accounts for the majority of Playrix's product portfolio revenue, amounting to USD 2 billion, accounting for 42.2% of total revenue. Followed by Japan, with a total of USD 488 million, accounting for 10% of players’ spending, followed by Germany, with revenue of 410 million US dollars, accounting for 8.5% of the total revenue.
The vast majority of Playrix's product portfolio revenue was generated from App Store, USD 2.5 billion, accounting for 52.7%. At the same time, revenue from Google Play was nearly USD2.3 billion, accounting for 47.3%.
Although Playrix originated from PC games, it has become one of the leading mobile game publishers not only in Europe but also in the world. " Gardenscapes " was originally a game of "Searching for Objects", but it was later adapted into a narrative-driven match game. Recently, Playrix has also announced a new "Searching for Objects " game called "Manor Matters", in order to fully develop and enrich its product line. With the support of a large number of loyal users, Playrix is building a series of growing product portfolios.
